We had another busy, but fun week leading into an even busier Father's day weekend.
Abby and her kids were here and got to spend a couple of days with us. I don't know how she does it. I was exhausted just watching her with the 3 kids. I honestly don't know how she ever gets anywhere on time. It's not easy bathing, diapering, feeding, and ushering 1 munchkin out the door. No idea how I'd get it done with 2 more! We were so glad to have them here and I know Audrey really enjoyed being with her cousins.
Graham got to go to back to back Braves games on Wednesday and Thursday. We sat in a box Thursday night and we are officially spoiled! Graham acknowledged that it will be hard to get me back to a game without luxury seating and air conditioning!
We kicked off Father's Day on Saturday by celebrating with Graham's dad. We attempted the pool, but the weather had other ideas. We grilled burgers and Audrey had fun playing with her Aunt Madison and cousins. It was a good day! In fact, so good that Audrey didn't want it to end. She was up 4 different times Saturday night :(.
Since it was Graham's morning to sleep in, Audrey decided she wanted to wake me up extra early on Father's day (6:00) to make sure the presents were wrapped, coffee was made, and breakfast was on the table. Well, we accomplished 1/3! We took Daddy out to breakfast and then attended the Father's Day worship service at our church. It's amazing what you can accomplish when you get up at 6 am!
We spent the afternoon with my family at Darbie's house and pool. It was fun to celebrate Father's Day with Pop and of course who can complain about Father's Day by the pool! By 5:00 though we were exhausted and headed home (Audrey had gotten 3 ten minute naps throughout the day).
