4 Months -- Updated

---Update---
We went to see Dr. Mahon yesterday. Audrey is "letting the rest of the pack catch up" as Graham put it. She was 14lbs 8oz (58th percentile), 25 inches (67th percentile) and her big ole noggin is in the 81st percentile. All of those stats are down from last month when she was in the 80-85th percentile for everything. She checked off all of her milestones (rolling over, sleeping through the night, babbling, grasping objects, holding her head up, sitting with assistance). He told us we could start trying cereal, fruit, and vegetables. We are also good to go on sunscreen, which is great because we leave for one of our beach trips in two weeks (babies aren't supposed to wear sunscreen until 6 months). Dr. Mahon thinks she's going to be a tanner like Graham and myself.

The best news is that both Audrey and mommy were big girls when Audrey got her vaccines. She got pricked twice, but it was not nearly as traumatic as the first two times. She was upset, but quit crying before we even left the exam room.
She spent the rest of the day snuggling with Niecie. We had a nice dinner with some high school friends afterwards at Fritti in Inman Park. Audrey was on her best behavior and gave out lots of free grins. She barely fussed despite missing a nap and having two vaccines earlier in the day. We are blessed with such mild mannered child.

Happy 4 months Audrey!

Okay, we are a little behind as usual. Audrey hit the 4 month marker almost two weeks ago.
I was waiting to write her 4 month blog until we go to the doctor this week, but I decided to go ahead and just update it later with measurements. Since we go to a semi-retired pediatrician, we have to take appointments when we can get them and we always seem to be a little behind.

This will be Graham's first well visit. He gets to see what it's like to have his heart ripped out when she gets her shots! I've been dreading it for all 3 of us for a while now. I'm anxious to see how much she's grown. She's gotten sooo long. We took her for a sick visit at the end of May and she was around 14 pounds.

This has been a big month for milestones. She rolled over for the first time one day and found her feet the next!

She also was sick for the first time. After sniffling for a couple weeks, we finally took her to the doctor when she developed a cough. She had a double ear infection and a sinus infection. Oops. Someone nominate us for parents of the year. She's so sweet and mild mannered that she really hadn't led on that she felt bad. She never really had a fever either.

Audrey is really on the move! She scoots all over the place while on her back. She loves to roll over on her side, but doesn't know what to do with that underneath arm to get all the way over. She has no problems flipping from her tummy to her back. Audrey is a kicker! Her Daddy thinks she's going to be a soccer player, but I think she's going to be a rockette. When she's not kicking she's holding her feet or trying to get them in her mouth. What talent. Her mother always has her foot in her mouth too :)

Speaking of her mouth...she's going to be a talker. She's cooing up a storm. It's so cute. Whenever I figure out how to connect the video camera I'll put up some videos. She smiles almost constantly. We have lots of "smile conversations" where we smile back and forth at each other. I can't get enough of her dimples!

Audrey has moved on from her love affair with ceiling fans and light fixtures. Her new fixation is the TV. It drives me nuts. I do not want her to be a TV watching child. She also has become aware of the dogs. She has pet Pongo and reached for Hudson. Both were so sweet. The dogs are still more fascinated with her stuff than they are with her.
