6 months was way too long for this wallpaper and border! This was our downstairs bathroom before we bought the house.
We pulled down the first layer of wallpaper and primed. We liked the primer so much, we kept it as our color! It's a much warmer blue than it looks in these pictures.

The "T" fingertip towels were a wedding gift, and of the accessories came from our house. The whole bathroom makeover cost us around $30!
Our upstairs bathroom was pretty awful. The fixtures were dated, while the hardware was upgraded with contemporary touches. It was a bad blend. There was no color to the room and the floor is pretty awful.
Using all of my accessories from my bathroom in Dalton, we updated this room to make it a little warmer. We bought a shower curtain rod and hung a curtain to hide the shower doors. I used my old red towels and bathmat, Darbie's old shower curtain (from the garage sale pile) and my favorite little girly lamp. The entire room was re-done for 9.99!

Eventually I hope to redo the countertops and tile in both guest bathrooms and completely overhaul the master bath. Those days are way down the road or after we sell our other ouse.
Graham hung our new LCD kitchen TV that Mom and Dad gave us for Christmas. I LOVE it. This was no easy task as it did not easily fit under our cabinets. He also wants me to mention the fact that he got under the house split and re-routed our cable. This was hard work! He was happy to do it...If the cook's not happy, nobody is happy!

I LOVE the bathrooms!!! Good job with the decorating.
Bathrooms look great! Come help me figure mine out when we move??? Tell Graham that we are all enamoured and amazed at how manly he is, no go carry something heavy!
Your bathrooms look great. It's amazing what a difference some paint (or primer!) makes. Good job!
Very cute. Especially love the blue bathroom. What's the name of the color? Might have to use that at the Duece :-)

It's a good bit deeper of a blue than it appears in these pictures. It doesn't have a name b/c I made the color up! It was Behr (Home Depot). The original color was "Windsor Haze" (560F-6)and I had them add 50% white to it. I used the original "Windsor Haze" in my dining room.
Maybe you could call it "Newlywed Blue" :-)
